Rehearsal aids:
- CyberBass - has all the rehearsal parts. It is worth spending a little time understanding the controls which allow different playback speeds and section repeats.
- Choralia - this has all the parts, and uses a voice-like synthesiser which is interesting.
- John Fletcher - See note below about John Fletcher files. For this piece, access is FREE.
Recorded Performances to listen to:
- The Orchestre National de France conducted by Daniele Gatti. Good performance. In German with French subtitles 😁. Includes Lucy Crowe.
- Atlanta Symphony Orchestra & Chorus. conducted by Robert Shaw. Good performance in English. Includes Thomas Hampson and Barbara Bonney.

Important Notice - John Fletcher Rehearsal Files
Rehearsal files for most of the pieces we will ever do can be found on the excellent John Fletcher site. You can access some of the pre-20thC pieces for free by simply registering with that site. But many later pieces require a subscription. This is £11/year for an individual, or £16.50 for a group membership for 2 people. I suggest you all make that investment in yourselves to give you access to pretty much everything we are likely to do in the future.
